IRCTC has launched new service..
Hi Guys,
I was trying to book a TATKAL tickt on IRCTC and as usual my after deducting amount from my bank account, transaction failed.
I noticed one option on left hand side panel saying that "Resumption of failed ticket". Below is the explanation as per my understanding of this option......
This option is nothing but a chance to resume your failed transaction again that means you don't need to put in all the details and selecting railway stations and passenger name, but in place of that what you have do is click on "Resumption of failed ticket" and it will list your failed transactions, select the one which you were trying to book and click on "resume ticket" button. That's it! IRCTC will resume the same transaction again.
The disadvantage is your failed transaction will reflect here only after 15 minutes of failure, also it might happen that at the time of booking your ticket status was different and when you resume transaction berth availability is different.
Hope this helps you!!
In addition to above, recently found that there is a way to find passenger details of any PNR, check out below link..
